Our research group is a joint venture between the research groups of Katharina Breininger (Head of the Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging Lab, Department of Artificial Intelligence in Biomedical Engineering, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg) and Marc Aubreville (Professor for Image Understanding and Medical AI applications, Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt). We share the curiosity for new insights from applying machine learning to microscopy images, which is the basis for this joint group.
